1. Introduction

Greetings and welcome to Speedi! Operated by Speedi Delivery LLC, this delivery service is tailored for quick and easy delivery of diverse products for those around the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, also known as "UNC" or the "University". While our service isn't exclusive to UNC students, it is essential that you be situated on or near the UNC campus to utilize Speedi. Before engaging with the Speedi app ("the App") and our delivery services, please thoroughly review our Terms of Service ("Terms") and Privacy Policy. Your use of Speedi signifies your consent to adhere to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of the Speedi App signifies your agreement to these Terms. If you disagree with these Terms, we kindly request that you refrain from using the App and our services.

3. Services

At Speedi, we offer a delivery service via a fleet of bikes, delivering an array of items including snacks, drinks, protein products, and other essentials for college students, primarily around the UNC campus. Please note that our services are subject to change and may differ depending on your location and the time.

4. Eligibility

Anyone located near the UNC campus is eligible to use Speedi. Our service does not have specific requirements for students or faculty.

5. Authority and Discretion

Speedi holds the discretion and authority over various aspects of our service, including but not limited to:

a. Orders: We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel orders at our discretion.

b. App Usage: We may suspend or terminate access to the App and services without prior notice.

c. Data Management: In line with our Privacy Policy, we handle user data with care and protection.

d. Delivery Time: We aim for prompt delivery, but please note that actual times can vary due to several factors. Exact delivery times are not guaranteed.

6. Registration

Creating an account on the App is necessary to access Speedi's services. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of your account.

7. Payments

We process payments through the App using available payment methods. By ordering through Speedi, you authorize us to charge your provided payment method for the full order amount.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Customer cancellations are not possible once an order is placed. However, if Speedi cancels an order, we process refunds within 24-48 hours.

9. Identification Verification for Selected Orders

Certain orders placed through our service may require valid identification to verify that the recipient is 21 years or older. For these specific orders:

  • Customers will be notified via text message when the driver is approximately 3 minutes away from the designated delivery location.

  • Upon reaching the delivery location, the driver will wait for a period of 3 minutes for the customer to present themselves with a valid ID.

  • The customer must present a valid identification (e.g., driver’s license, passport, or any state-issued ID) that clearly establishes the customer's age as 21 or older. The identification must be legitimate and not tampered with or expired. The driver holds the right to deny delivery if the ID presented appears to be fraudulent or does not clearly establish the customer's age as 21 or older.

  • If the customer fails to appear within the designated 3-minute waiting window or does not have a valid ID proving they are 21 or older, the order will be considered undeliverable.

  • In the event of an unsuccessful delivery due to the reasons stated above, the customer will be refunded 50% of their order amount. This reduction accounts for restocking and service costs. The refund will be processed to the original payment method within 3-5 business days.

Customers are strongly encouraged to be prompt and have their valid ID ready to ensure a smooth delivery experience. It's our commitment to serve the college community efficiently, and we appreciate our customers' cooperation in meeting regulatory and safety standards.

10. User Conduct

You are expected to use Speedi and the App lawfully and responsibly. Avoid any harmful, offensive, or illegal activities while using our services.

11. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy details our practices regarding your personal information.

12. Termination

Speedi retains the right to terminate or suspend access to our services and the App at any time.

13. Disclaimer

Our services are provided "as is", without warranties regarding quality, accuracy, or reliability. We are not liable for any losses or damages from using our services.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the App after such changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
